The office of Facilities & Operations (also known as Buildings & Grounds) is located in the Palmyra-Macedon High School which is located at 151 Hyde Pkwy, Palmyra, NY 14522.

The Director Facilities & Operations oversees several support staff components; Custodial, Building Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, Clerical and Food/Mail Courier.

The mission of the custodial & maintenance staff is to provide a safe, sanitary and attractive environment for our students, staff and the public.

Maintenance

The maintenance department is responsible for the physical plant at all district facilities as well as mail courier service. The maintenance crew is comprised of three employees who work out of the Maintenance Department.

Specialized traded of these employees include; plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, cabinetry, electrical, welding and heavy equipment operation.

Grounds

The Grounds Crew is responsible for the maintenance of the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District’s campus, parking lots and roadways, all sidewalks, athletic fields and play areas.

Three employees are assigned to Grounds:

  • Mike Felice
  • Rick Zurick

The grounds crew also joins the Maintenance crew with duties when necessary.

 

Custodial

The Custodial Department is comprised of 22 full-time employees located at the various school buildings.

These custodians and cleaners are responsible for the daily cleaning and minor maintenance of the school district’s facilities.

There are four Sr. Building Maint Mechanics who oversee the custodial responsibilities at each building. Please contact:
