MAY 8, 2026— Students at the middle and primary schools teamed up once again for a special project that turns art into a reality.
Students in the Middle School Family and Career Sciences (FACS) classes worked with kindergartners on the annual "Monsters" project.
Since 2023, the project sees kindergartners draw and design their own monster, and then middle schoolers sew, fill, and present a 3D version of the drawing. In addition, middle school students also wrote short stories based on the monster.
The two sides came together at PMP on Wednesday to share the completed monsters and stories, along with some laughs and hugs.
