DEC. 10, 2025— Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen can do it all, but now he's taking on a new task: Elf on the Shelf!

The Pal-Mac Primary School recently voted to make the reigning National Football League (NFL) MVP its "Elf on the Shelf" for the holiday season. Students saw the Josh elf for the first time Monday morning, and it was something to shout about!

Several students entering the building at arrival stopped in the main entry and looked up to see their newest greeter. "It's Josh Allen!" yelled several students.

The elf is part of a yearly PMP tradition and is meant to encourage positivity, joy, and kindness! As part of the tradition, a classroom is selected to create a list of names for the elf. This year, it was Mrs. Lindstrom's UPK classroom. The class shared that list of names with the second graders, who then narrowed the list down to five names. The five names were then put up to a vote by the whole school.

Finalists included Alfy, Cupcake, Frosty, Snowy, and of course, Josh Allen. Much like his previously mentioned MVP vote, Josh won the nod with a convincing 61 out of 116 votes.

Beyond being a jolly sight to see, the elf comes along with a special message for the students. This year's message is appropriately Buffalo Bills-themed:

"Josh Allen is my name-hooray!

He's kind, brave, and always leads the way!

Be good, do good

Be Red Raider Ready today!"

The elf will be on display throughout the rest of the month.

Special thanks to PMP Dean of Students Wendy Ellis for coordinating this yearly tradition.
