DEC. 18, 2025— A special holiday time program connected several PMP classrooms to other classrooms across the country!

Mrs. Moore, Hanna, and Besser's first grade classes took part in the nationwide "Gingerbread Exchange" program. As part of the effort, students wrote a letter about their school experiences living in Western New York, as well as any other fun facts. They then decorated a gingerbread and sent both out to other schools.

Those schools then returned the favor, and sent the students back a gingerbread and letter of their own. PMP classes received letters from California all the way to Maine, with over 10 unique states responding!

The goal of the exchange is for students across the country to learn more about the other states in a fun way!

Mrs. Hanna said this was the third year her classes participated in the effort, which mirrors a similar program used in a PMI classroom last year.
