NOV.12, 2024—A group of Pal-Mac Middle School students spent time over the course of several weeks interviewing a group of Pal-Mac alums who went on to serve in our Armed Forces.

The effort was part of the District's annual Veterans Day celebrations, as well as the District's 75th anniversary celebration.

Under the supervision of Mrs.Sousa, students asked the alums questions about where/when they served, their day-to-day roles, as well as the importance of celebrating Veterans Day, among other prompts.

All students viewed these interviews in their NEST classrooms and wrote letters of appreciation to our veterans and active military members. A condensed version of the interviews (which is above) was shown as the school's Veterans Day celebration on Nov.8.
