APRIL 10, 2026— 37 talented Pal-Mac Middle School artists have been selected for the 19th Annual Wayne County Council for the Arts, Inc. Exhibit.

The show will be open for the rest of April, with a main reception to take place this Sunday, April 12 from 2-4 p.m.

Gallery hours on Thursday are 5-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m-2 p.m.

The gallery is located at 108 W Miller St, Newark, NY 14513

The image displays various natural objects, including a hand-shaped rock formation, a vibrant purple mineral, and a wooden sculpture, all arranged on a white surface with a black frame.

Middle School Art Teacher Ms. Sami Dentel said selecting artwork for the annual show is never easy, because of the high-level of talent displayed by our students. She said selections were made from students who had art during the first half of the year, as the second-half group is still completing their work.

"I am so proud of these artists and all they’ve accomplished," Dentel said. "I can’t wait to celebrate this exciting recognition with them and their families on Sunday!"

If you’re able, please come out to support our Pal-Mac Middle School artists in Newark this Sunday or stop by throughout the month.

Dentel said the school will host an art show on Thursday, May 28, where every single PMMS student will have at least one piece on display in the school. More information is coming soon!
