APRIL 28, 2025— The District would like congratulate Varsity Boys Swimming and Diving team member Hayden Smith on receiving a Section V Athletics Winter 2024-25 Student Athlete Scholarship.

As part of the honor, Smith, a senior, will receive a $500 scholarship.

He will be attending Roberts Wesleyan University to study mechanical engineering, as well as competing on its swim team. He will join fellow Pal-Mac grads Andon ('22) and Avery Fedor ('23).

Smith told Section V he was proud of being a part of a team that broke the 26-year-old school record for the 200 freestyle relay, as well as receiving the team's Ideal Teammate Award. 

He was also among those named to New York State's Scholar Athlete team in the Winter. He also competed for the Varsity Boys Soccer team in the Fall.
