MARCH 9, 2026—Pal-Mac High School senior Jenna Lindstrom was recently named a 2026 Superintendent's Award recipient for her efforts both inside and outside the classroom.

Lindstrom was honored alongside students from across the region during a special ceremony at the Wayne-Finger Lakes Conference Center Thursday night.

She was joined by her mother, Robin, a teacher at PMP; father Chris, a 1996 Pal-Mac grad and Board of Education member; and her sister Erika; along with BOE President Laura Arrington, District Superintendent Dr. Bob Ike, and high school principal Andy Wahl.

Dr. Ike nominated Jenna for the award, which carries requirements ranging from a GPA of 80 or higher to consistent demonstration of selflessness and strong leadership qualities, among other criteria.

This is the second year in a row Jenna received recognition for her leadership, as she received the 2025 Youth Recognition Award from New York State Senator Pam Helming last year.

In addition to her award, Jenna received a $500 scholarship courtesy of Watchdog Building Partners. Jenna submitted an essay as part of the process, which said in part:

“The qualities that best describe me as a leader are reliability, empathy, organization, and perseverance. I believe empathy is especially important because strong leadership starts with understanding and respecting others. I strive to be someone people can depend on and feel comfortable approaching. Ultimately, I lead by example, through hard work, integrity, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on those around me.”

The District would like to congratulate Jenna on her outstanding accomplishment.
