NOV.27, 2023- Welcome to the future!

The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District Monday launched its re-imagined website. The website has a familiar look with new and improved features.

The site provides a seamless, cleaner experience for users on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

The change comes months after the purchase of the District's previous web provider, Schoolpointe, by Finalsite. Finalsite is another provider of content management systems used by school districts across the country. The website redesign formally kicked off in January.

The redesign process has touched every page of the District’s website for a cleaner and easier navigation experience.

Every main page (District, school buildings) includes a navigation bar to the left side. These tabs will make for easy navigation within a section (IE: “Food menus” within Food Services, or “About the Board” within the Board of Education)

Currently, the tabs on the District homepage include Job Opportunities, District Event Calendar, and our Help Page, among others.

At the top of every page are drop-down menus, each with a link to different pages. Additional quick links can be found at the very bottom of every page.

All tabs are subject to change.

Want to stay up to date with the latest Pal-Mac news? The “news” section on each page is now easier to navigate!

If you don’t want to scroll through pages of articles, you can simply search for a story by its tag or category. Check out the search bar to the right of each page!

Additionally, stories will now load on the same page for an easier viewing experience.

Each main page will include a “hero gallery,” at the top of the page. These galleries can include rotating videos, pictures, and even links to news stories.

The website provides new services that help check, spot, and correct accessibility issues so users of as many backgrounds as possible can view website content. The AudioEye module, designated by a white and blue icon, provides additional accessibility features allowing users to customize the site to their needs.

All families are encouraged to discover our page and take a few moments to click, scroll, and search the website to experience the full range of features and information offered.

After you've looked around the website, please provide us with your thoughts by completing a short survey based on your experience.
