MAY 5, 2026—The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District is proud to recognize Staff Appreciation Week during the week of May 4, 2026.

The week is dedicated to all of those who dedicate their time and efforts to helping our students learn, grow, and contribute. 

Throughout the week, each building is honoring its staff with special celebrations. Students also helped produce a thank you video, which you can view above.

Superintendent Dr. Bob Ike said

"In classrooms, offices, buses, cafeterias, and behind the scenes, you create the conditions where students feel seen, supported, and inspired. You bring our mission to life not through words, but through consistent care, high expectations, and a commitment to doing what’s right for kids, even when it’s not easy.

The work you do matters. It shapes not only academic outcomes but also confidence, belonging, and the kind of community we are building together at Pal-Mac.

Thank you for your professionalism, your humanity, and your belief in our students. I am proud to serve alongside you."

National Teacher Appreciation Day and National Nurses Appreciation Day also occur during this week. Be sure to thank a staff member who has had an impact on you!
