JUNE 12, 2025— The Palmyra-Macedon Dollars for Scholars (DFS) Chapter recently set another record as it gave out more than $247,000 in scholarships to the Class of 2025.
The Chapter held its annual awards ceremony in the Pal-Mac High School Gym on Thursday, June 5. The ceremony was live streamed, courtesy of Mr.Kevin Schlegel and his students.
The total came to $247,100 across several scholarships, which were given to 88 students. The total includes $222,300 in scholarships directly from the Chapter.
This was the first time in Chapter history it reached the $200,000 mark.
Since it was founded in 1988, the Chapter has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships, which makes it among the most sucessful in New York State.
