JUNE 15, 2026— The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District proudly celebrated the Class of 2026 at the annual graduation ceremony Thursday night.

The ceremony was held at Lincoln Hill Farms in Canandaigua.

More than 140 students crossed the stage, and into their futures. Valedictorian George Newsome IV, Salutatorian Ella Eakins, and Class President Andrew Jennette each spoke to their fellow classmates.

Eakins spoke about the beauty of embracing being outside of your comfort zone, while Newsome touched on challenges, and those who support us through them. Jennette then presented the class gift: a brand-new freezer and new menu boards at the Pal-Mac Senior Booth at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, as well as a $500 annual Dollars for Scholars (DFS) scholarship for the next four years.

Next, Board of Education President Laura Arrington spoke about graduation from the perspective of a parent, and the power of the words "we believe in you, and you belong here."

Then it was time to present the diplomas, and officially celebrate the District's newest alumni.
