A large orchestra performs on a stage, with musicians playing various instruments and a conductor leading the ensemble.

APRIL 13, 2026— From James Bond to Duke Ellington, the 26th annual Pal-Mac Jazz Night on Thursday, April 9, was a show to remember.

Both Middle and High School Jazz Bands took to the Performing Arts Center (PAC) stage to perform a wide range of jazzy tunes.

Two women in black hats and coats are playing musical instruments on a stage, with various other musical instruments visible in the background.

The middle schoolers started off the night with the aforementioned James Bond theme before a run that included classics like "Stand By Me" and "Funkytown," before closing their set with a rocking performance of Tito Puente's “Oye Como Va."

Next, the high schoolers took the stage and opened with songs like "Birdland," and "In the Mood," before ending their set with a tribute to the Blues Brothers.

Both ensembles then joined together for a jam-packed performance of "Louie, Louie."

Great work by our student musicians, and special thanks to our directors, and of course, to all of those who attended!
