FEB.5, 2025—The Palmyra-Macedon Board of Education Tuesday night recognized Varsity Football Coach Brian Quick.
The Board honored Quick after he received the Coach of the Year Award from the Wayne-Finger Lakes Independent League. Quick received a certificate from Board Vice President Dave Landon.
Since re-taking the head coaching position in 2023, the Red Raiders have a 17-2 record, including an undefeated championship season that year. The team finished as finalists in this year's championship game, but clinched its division for the second-straight year.
In addition to on the field success, Quick's teams have been named a New York State Scholar Athlete Team two years in a row.
"I'm the one who is getting the award, but the whole program should be getting the award," Quick said.
