MARCH 25, 2025—2018 Pal-Mac grad Josh Moyer was just recognized for saving someone's life!

Moyer is an officer with the City of Geneva (NY) Police Department and received the department's Life Saving Award following an incident in September.

In a Facebook post, the department reports Josh quickly applied a tourniquet to a person's arm during an emergency situation.

A veteran paramedic on scene later said that if Josh had not stepped in as a fast as he did, the person would have been seriously injured or died.

Josh was a multi-sport athlete at Pal-Mac as he helped lead the Red Raider Boys Lacrosse team to the 2017 Section V Class C Championship. He also lettered in lacrosse, golf, and swimming.

He attended Keuka College, where competed on the Men's Lacrosse team. He also studied  Environmental Science.
