SEP.26, 2024—Pal-Mac is excited to celebrate its 2024 Homecoming weekend on Friday, Oct.4 and Saturday, Oct.5. The weekend will honor all things Pal-Mac and will culminate with several Red Raider athletic competitions on both days. 

Before the big weekend, we’re providing a guide that breaks down the events and expectations.

 

Event Schedule

Friday, Oct. 4:

• Fan Fare Friday: All school buildings wear Pal-Mac red and white!
• 5 p.m. - Food trucks at the High School
• 6 p.m. - Homecoming Parade
• 7 p.m. - Varsity Football Game (w/ Halftime Fireworks)

Saturday, Oct. 5:

• 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Homecoming Games (Hyde Parkway Campus)
• 11 a.m. - Food trucks at the High School

Parade

Community members are encouraged to celebrate the annual Homecoming Parade on Friday. The parade will begin around 6 p.m. along Birdsall Parkway before progressing down West Jackson Street, Stafford Street, and West Foster Street. The parade will end at the High School parking lot by the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Be loud, be proud!

PK-5 students who are going to march in the parade need to be accompanied by a parent or other adult who will walk with their student in the parade. 

Fireworks Display

The main fireworks display will happen during halftime of the Varsity Football game, sometime around 8 p.m. A few fireworks will also be launched during the performance of the National Anthem before the game. 

Residents may also hear some wind testing fireworks launched by the technician during setup earlier in the day.
