MAY 13, 2024— Please join us in congratulating Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach E.J. Burse, who just notched his 200th career win!
Burse and the Red Raiders defeated East Aurora 18-4 at Genesee Community College. His team joined him after the game for a short ceremony, where they presented him with a banner to mark the occasion.
He joins Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach Joe Hill in the 200 club, as Hill reached the milestone in April.
Since taking over in 2007, coach Burse’s teams have won five Section V Championships. He’s also overseen several All-Americans and All-Academics players.
The team also earned a Finger Lakes League East title this season!
In a Facebook post, Burse said "So lucky to have been at this long enough for 200 wins. Thanks to everyone that has been a part of this program's success."
Burse's squad has two regular season games remaining before they enter Sectional play.
