SEP.28. 2022— Pal-Mac girls varsity soccer junior Maya Ikewood added herself to the history books Tuesday night following her school record-setting 88th career goal in a match against Penn Yan.

She passes the previous record which was set by Pal-Mac coach and alum Sam Gagliano.

Ikewood scored the goal early in the second half as part of the Red Raider's 5-0 win against the Mustangs. She was immediately joined by her teammates in a celebration, as parents in the crowd cheered her on.

Ikewood also received recognition from the home Public Address Announcer. 

Later on, head coach Mike Karns presented her a signed game ball from all of her teammates. Ikewood then shared a quick "thank you" to the cheering crowd.
