NOV.3,2022— The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District Tuesday recognized two local organizations that continue to have a big impact on the District.
During a ceremony headed by the Board of Education's Recognition Committee the District presented the Robert G. Boehmler Community Partners for Education Award to the Palmyra Community Library and Wayne Behavioral Health Network.
The awards recognize individuals and organizations which have excelled through their work in or with the district.
The library continues to be an amazing asset for Pal-Mac’s students and staff, as well as the greater community. Wayne Behavioral Health’s school-based clinics at Pal-Mac continue to be a success. This is due to the program’s efforts to eliminate barriers to access the services and create treatment plans in conjunction.
There to accept the awards were Library Director Patricia Baynes, and Jim Haitz, the Director of Wayne Behavioral Health.
