JUNE 24, 2022 — A group of Pal-Mac Middle School students made a big impact on some local heroes, with a little help from their classmates.

Students in Mrs. Baehr’s DEAL class recently gave out a total of 80 goodie bags to four local firehouses including Macedon Center South Macedon Fire And Rescue, the East Palmyra Volunteer Fire Dept, and the Palmyra Fire Dept.

The bags  contained an energy bar, a bottle of water, fruit snacks, and trail mix.  The money used to make the bags was raised through two fundraiser back in February.

The kids sold little bags of Hershey kisses (kisses from Lucy the therapy dog) and Crush soda on Valentine’s Day.

Shoutout to Sean Allen, Trenton Austin, Elijah Boswell, Sophia Casella, Sydney Cole, Wyatt Dallas, Jackson Dennie, Lucian Haines, Drew Ikewood, Ian Mamroe, Dominic McAndrew, Zoey Michalski, Charlotte Praino, Avery Steen,  and Mia Wakely!
