NOV.28,2022— Students at the Pal-Mac Intermediate School gobbled up the chance to take part in an annual tradition for the first time in nearly three years on Tuesday, Nov.22. The day marked the return of the Turkey Chase, a mile-long run around the back of the school.
The tradition took a break due to COVID-19.
A large line of students tasked with chasing a "turkey" through a pre-determined route, ended the run with a crossing at the finish line closer to the building. A High School student played the role of the turkey by dressing up in costume. Throughout the chase, different classes got together in cheering stations throughout the route to cheer on the runners, and the turkey.

Students each received a celebratory red ribbon at the end of the chase!
