The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District is growing its social media presence by launching official accounts on Instagram and Twitter to better communicate with the community.
Social media users can find timely announcements, news and events, along with staff and student achievements on these platforms and on Facebook by searching @PalMac_CSD.
The district also invites followers to use the hashtag #PalMacProud when sharing posts. Links to all district social media channels are available on the district website, palmaccsd.org.
Additionally, visitors to the website will find an enhanced District News section in the quick links area on the left side of the homepage. The news section will feature more frequent updates on district happenings and important announcements. The district will also continue to send Pal-Mac E-News monthly to email inboxes to highlight district accomplishments and events. Pal-Mac Magazine, an in-depth print and digital magazine, is published in the fall, winter and spring and distributed through the United States Postal Service. A digital copy will be available on the district's website.
“We continue to seek ways to expand our portfolio of communication tools to reach as many people as possible,” said Pal-Mac Superintendent Dr. Bob Ike. “Improving our presence on social media and adding more information to the district website helps us accomplish this.”
