MAY 23, 2022— The Pal-Mac classes of 2022 and 2023 came together under one roof Saturday night as they celebrated a successful prom night.
The prom was held at the Fig Hollow Barn along Yellow Mills Road in Palmyra. The venue donated the space to the school district for the evening. Staff from FHB were also on hand.
The evening featured dancing, a DJ, yard games, a photo booth, and a prize raffle every half hour. Students were able to take home raffle prizes ranging from Dunkin Donuts gift cards to manicure and pedicure gift cards, as well as two large-screen TVs.
Dars Delight served up ice cream out of a food truck while Mark's Pizzeria provided pizza. There were also a variety of snacks.
Behind the scenes, class officers from the Class of 2023 spent hours decorating the space. Additionally, many volunteer chaperones pitched in to make sure the evening was fun and safe for everyone.
Advisor Rachael Fedor said "We are lucky to work with such a great crew. The night was a success, and it's thanks in part to everyone who pitched in!"
Advisor John Burgess said "We couldn't have done this without a team effort. We're grateful to all of those who volunteered their time to make this such a special evening for our students."
