May 17, 2022 - Voters in the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District approved the 2022-23 district budget (449 yes votes to 175 no votes) on Tuesday, May 17.
The budget totals $45,651,000 with a 1.7% tax levy increase.
Voters also approved the expenditure of Bus Purchase Reserve funds not to exceed $142,800 for the purchase of one full-size replacement school bus. (484 yes votes to 141 no votes)
Voters also approved the creation of a Capital Reserve Fund (443 yes votes, 172 no votes)
Additionally, David Landon, Christopher Doyle, and Gary Laberge were elected to the Pal-Mac Board of Education. All three will retain their seats. Each board member will serve a three-year term.
