COVID-19 Reopening Plan now available

In accordance with guidelines established by the New York State Department of Health (DOH), the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District has formulated a school reopening plan for submission to DOH, New York State Education Department (NYSED) and publication to the Pal-Mac community. The plan prioritizes in-person instruction as per NYS guidelines and offers two levels of programming: a full return to school (Level 1) or remote learning (Level 2).

Jolly Roger 5K Goes Virtual

The Jolly Roger 5K is an opportunity to be active with family while remaining socially this year’s race will be VIRTUAL!

Free Summer Lunches Available

Free summer lunches are available for kids and teens in the Palmyra-Macedon Community. The meal program will be a grab and go. Parents are allowed to pick up lunches for their children. There will be no social gatherings or activities.

Palmyra-Macedon Central School District budget, bus purchase proposals pass

June 16, 2020 - Voters in the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District overwhelmingly approved the 2020-21 the district budget by a margin of 1,494 yes votes to 591 no votes. This year’s vote was conducted solely by absentee ballot due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. 

PAC closed for renovations

Effective immediately, the Performing Arts Center will be closed for renovations and will not be available for any events. Alternative spaces in the high school such as the gym and lower cafeteria can be suitable substitutions for events.

Dear Neighbors:


I have struggled in recent weeks about civil unrest in our country. I am aghast by the extreme racial violence. I am angry that individual cruelty has resulted in the death of human life. I am saddened by an enormous division that is clearly present.

The 33rd Annual Palmyra-Macedon Dollars for Scholars program took on a different format this year as it was held virtually but the purpose remained the same, honoring Pal-Mac seniors.

The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District is thrilled to celebrate the Class of 2020. One such way seniors are being celebrated is through a virtual scrapbook. Seniors were provided the chance to submit information to create this fun book of memories. Congratulations, Class of 2020! 

Brooks announced as new Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Student Learning Brian Brooks

At the March 17 Palmyra-Macedon Central School District Board of Education meeting, Mr. Brian Brooks was appointed to the position of Pal-Mac Superintendent for Instruction and Student Learning.

2020-21 School Calendar Now Available

On Tuesday, February 4, the Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2020-21 school year.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District has been recognized with top honors as part of the 17th Annual Utica National School Safety Excellence Program.
