You are invited: NYS Board of Regents graduation measures discussion

The Board of Regents will create a Blue Ribbon Commission to review the State’s high school graduation measures and reaffirm what it means to obtain a diploma in New York State. The Board of Regents and State Education Department are holding regional meetings to help inform the work of the Blue Ribbon Commission. Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to break into smaller groups to discuss and provide feedback to the Department.

Raptor Visitor Management System sign-in process updated

Visitors to school sites throughout the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District are likely familiar with the electronic sign-in process using the Raptor Visitor Management System. The visitor management system, which is aimed at enhancing building safety and more effectively tracking building visitors, has been in place for several years.

On the morning of Tuesday, December 17, we learned of the tragic passing of Pal-Mac Middle School student Conrad Button as a result of an overnight fire. Sadly, it is the district’s understanding that Conrad’s grandmother Mary Button also passed away as a result of the fire.
