Geometry Regents

This is a full year course designed to give students an opportunity to make conjectures about geometric situations and prove them in a variety of ways.

Topics include:

• The study of geometric relationships

• Constructing proofs with valid arguments using properties of perpendicularity, parallelism, congruence, and similarity with polygons and circles

• Congruence of geometric figures

• Similarity of geometric figures

• Transformations

• Polygons

The Geometry Regents exam is given at the end of this course.
