Universal Pre-Kindergarten Programs
General Information:
- Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) programs are designed to prepare our most emergent learners for Kindergarten the following year. Children participate in a structured environment, rich with literacy and discovery.
- UPK is free of charge, and transportation is available. As per
- UPK is a half-day program, Monday through Friday.
Requirements to Attend:
- Must reside in the
- Must turn 4 years old on or before December 1, 2010
- (Please note: If a child is eligible for Kindergarten in the 2010-2011 school year, the child is not eligible for UPK.)
- Must provide proof of up-to-date immunizations and medical examination records
Registration for the 2010-2011 UPK Programs
March 29 - April 2, 2010
April 5 - April 9, 2010
at the Palmyra-Macedon District Office
Parents must call for an appointment after March 1, 2010

The following documents are required at time of registration:
· proof of residency (utility bill, lease/mortgage papers) · immunization / medical record signed by physician · child’s birth certificate · parent identification · custody papers, if applicable
