Mission of the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District The Palmyra-Macedon School District, as part of the community, will empower all students to acquire the skills, attitudes, and abilities to achieve a responsible, productive, and fulfilling life in our changing world.
Vision for the Palmyra-Macedon School District Palmyra-Macedon School District’s vision is a portrait of our community’s “preferred future” for our children. It is a map of the “Pathways to Excellence” that has been charted by the various stakeholder groups. It is composed of plans to empower all students to achieve responsible, productive, and fulfilling lives as our mission challenges us to do.
It is a living vision, which is dynamic, flexible, and responsive to an ever-changing world community. Its images will be painted by the skills, attitudes, and abilities we create and nurture in our children.
It is a vision of excellence, equity, and unlimited opportunity. As such, its details can only be glimpsed, as the future is never fully revealed to us. Without planning, the future will only be a reenactment of the past and our potential may never be fully realized.
