Welcome to Reading AIS

The Palmyra Macedon Middle School provides supplemental reading programs for those students who are “At-Risk” of not meeting grade level learning standards. The two Reading Specialists, Mrs. Kristin Wahl and Mrs. Lisa Shaw provide these services to approximately 75 students each year.

Students are selected for Academic Intervention Service (AIS) on an individual basis. Each parent will be notified if their child has been recommended to receive this additional support service.

Delivery of Services:

* Push In - Reading Specialists work with small groups in the classroom.

* Pull Out - Reading Specialists work with small groups in the Reading Suite.
