Scholastic Reading Counts
We started this incentive Reading program at Palmyra-Macedon Middle School, utilizing a program called “Scholastic Reading Counts” in the fall of 2004.
Students read a book and take a quiz on it. Once they have read 5 books and passed 5 quizzes they reach level 1 prize. Then they read 5 more books and take 5 more quizzes and reach level 2 prize. This continues for each level. Prizes will be given out four times a year. Please continue to encourage your children to read and participate in this incentive reading program.
