Dear Parents, Students and Members of the Community: Palmyra-Macedon Central School District has developed an Interscholastic Athletic Program with educational value for all students. It focuses on the development of self-esteem and individual skills as well as fostering an atmosphere of teamwork, citizenship and sportsmanship. In addition, we believe our sports program emphasizes discipline, leadership, respect, loyalty and cooperation. This year our goal is to continue to develop our students’ skills academically as well as athletically while building the thinking skills and competence of our student athletes through our intense, disciplined regimen. Our athletes will be advantaged physically and mentally to meet their challenge with our new state of the art Fitness Room that is being used regularly by our students and community members. Success in athletics is linked to success in life. Accordingly, our staff of coaches is committed to educate and lead our students. Our District has provided qualified and certified coaches who are positive role models and are enthusiastic about working with student athletes in an environment programmed for the 21st Century. My door is open. If I can be of any assistance or can answer any questions you may have, do not hesitate to call. Our school and community are in partnership to support and cheer our teams. See you at the games!! Sincerely, Fred S. Ciaburri Fred S. Ciaburri Director of Physical Education and Interscholastic Athletics |
