THE MIDDLE SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

Together with the community, our educators are dedicated to providing a challenging learning environment that gives all students the opportunity and support needed to reach their own individual academic and creative potential.

Palmyra-Macedon Middle School has adopted its value statements from the National Middle School Association's This We Believe publication. We believe each of our students is entitled to the following:

  • Curriculum that is relevant, challenging, integrative and exploratory
  • Multiple learning and teaching approaches that respond to diversity
  • Assessment and evaluation programs that promote quality learning
  • Organizational structures that support meaningful relationships and learning
  • School-wide efforts and policies that foster health, wellness, and safety
  • Multi-faceted guidance and support services
